This privacy policy notifies you about how New Zealand Steel Limited, Pacific Steel (NZ) Limited, Steltech Structural Limited and any other members of the New Zealand Steel group (we, us, our) collect, hold, use and share your personal information. “Personal information” is information that is about you as an individual.
We take your privacy seriously and this privacy policy, and our practices, comply with the Privacy Act 2020.

The types of personal information we collect from you will depend on the nature of our interactions with you and the circumstances in which your personal information is collected. It may include your name, email address and other contact details, and occupation and bank account details. Where we conduct a credit check on you, we may also collect information about your credit history including from third parties providers.
We collect personal information directly from you in the course of our day-to-day business activities, such as when you call or email us, or provide us with your information in person.
We also collect your personal information when you use our websites, including when you actively provide your information to us, for example through the “contact us” page). Remarketing
We use Google AdWords Remarketing to advertise New Zealand Steel across the Internet, in particular on the Google Display Network.
AdWords Remarketing will display ads to you based on what parts of the New Zealand Steel website you have viewed by placing a cookie on your web browser.
This cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer or mobile device.
The cookie is used to indicate to other websites that “This person visited a particular page, so show them ads relating to that page.”
Google AdWords Remarketing allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.
If you do not wish to see ads from COLORSTEEL you can opt out in several ways:
- Opt out of Google’s use of cookies by visiting Google’s Ads Settings.
- Opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
