COLORSTEEL® Matte incorporates cutting-edge micro-wrinkle technology that is specially designed to diffuse light. In comparison to high gloss, semi-gloss or even low gloss surfaces that reflect light in a specular manner, COLORSTEEL® Matte diffuses light, resulting in a unique finish that has greater depth of colour and texture.
As COLORSTEEL® Matte is a paint finish, it’s available on the pre-existing substrates of COLORSTEEL®. The matte range carries the same warranty as the substrate it’s supplied on and is suitable for the environmental regions where you already use COLORSTEEL®.
COLORSTEEL® Matte is available in the strong rustic colour of FlaxPod®, the smoky charcoal grey of TidalDrift® and the smooth, light grey StonePeak™.
The addition of these matte colours to the COLORSTEEL® range brings an alternative cladding option that carries a sense of tailored elegance and is ideal for everything from roof and wall cladding to fascia and rainwater applications. Especially effective in a tray profile, it’s also available in trapezoidal and corrugated profiles. Pairing well with metals, concrete formwork, unpolished timbers, and stone, the result for your client will be a look that treads the line between urban sophistication and a refined industrial palette.
